Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines that govern the practices of Thames K9 and are for the interest of safety, responsibility and welfare of our clients. Please note payment for service also implies full agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

Thames K9 cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury, or damage to a person, dog, or property.

Dogs must be under control and on a lead in public areas and off lead only when specifically instructed to by the trainer & coach.

Your trainer & coach is there to help however, owners remain responsible for their dog at all times.

In order to see progress, owners must be consistent in training and commit to the training plan provided by Thames K9. Every dog learns at a different pace and owners must be patient. To see maximum results, owners should follow training advice given.

You must ensure that by the time of the service that the dog is up to date with its vaccinations (as recommended by the British Veterinary Association), and it has received flea and tick treatments and de-wormer treatments.

Any health problems must be stated at the time of booking and if likely to effect training we must receive a vet referral before commencing training with Thames K9.

Owners must be honest when giving information on an animal’s health, behaviour and history. All bite history must be declared at the time of booking.

It is a legal requirement under the Control of Dogs Order 1992 that every dog in a public place must wear a collar with an ID tag displaying the owner's name and address. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure their dog is correctly identified in compliance with this law.

All payments are to be made via bank transfer unless otherwise specified.

Payment must be made in advance of the service taking place. Thames K9 reserves the right to cancel any service where payment has not been received within 48 hours of booking.

Cancellation of the following services by client after booking has been confirmed will result in loss of full service cost unless Thames K9 decides otherwise: 1-2-1 Coaching, Training Walks & Group Walks.

No-Show Policy: No refunds or alternative dates/times will be provided for missed 1-2-1 Coaching Sessions, Training Walks or Group Walks.

1-2-1 Coaching 3 x follow on session package must be used within 3 months from the date of the first session - no refunds will be given for outstanding sessions not used within this timeframe. No-Show Policy: If you miss a session without prior notice, it will be deducted from your package, and no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.

Residential Training Programme: Payment: A 50% deposit is required at the time of the residential booking. The outstanding payment is to be made no later than the first day of the service commencing. Cancellation policy: ​Cancellations within 2 weeks (fourteen days) of residential bookings are non-refundable unless under exceptional circumstances. No refunds will be given once the service has begun.

Service Cancellation by Thames K9: If we need to cancel a service, we will offer either a refund or an alternative session date.

Refunds are issued at our discretion on a case-by-case basis, and all decisions are final.

By booking a service with Thames K9, you agree with these terms and conditions.

GDPR/Privacy Policy- Any personal data we hold, e.g. name, address, telephone numbers etc will be disposed of after six months to ensure your safety and privacy.
